All right- REally this blog is all for me, but I am sure I will share these memories at some point...
I just really wanted a place that I could store the memories of all the little things I enjoy about my life today and tomorrow... so I can look back and remember that things are really as bad as they seem when I surround myself with the little joys of my everyday life...
Starting with my Kids. Yes Kids- as I type this first update out I am 24 weeks pregnant with Baby #2 and Owen is almost 23 months old- GOD he will be two soon! Where did that time go- I wish I had started doing this when I was pregnant with him so I could look back at those crazy new mom first moments with Owen.
So Lets see- right now Owen is into the Toy Story Movie- like he watches it everyday almost the whole way through. He loves being outside and points out everything he sees... bird-air plane- tree- truck- bike- grass ect ect... He love love loves to cut the grass on the tractor with Dad and they do it together almost every time it needs to be cut- it is the cutest thing to see and totally melts my heart. Daddy is truely Owen's hero right now, his favorite person 95% of the time, the other 5% is split between Mom and both grandmas...
As for Baby #2- an ultrasound two weeks ago sort of looked like we would be having another Boy, but I am not going to hold my breath on that just yet as they told us Owen was a girl at his first ultrasound. Hmm what else. OH Last week Jason felt baby move a little bit, but boy his baby 2 stubborn, cause now when dad puts his hand on the belly he automatically stops moving in there- its not nice to tease your daddy like that baby :) I feel strong movements every day now and I am getting really excited to meet you. Although I am a little nervous how DAddy and I are going to manage with two kids instead of just one... I guess we will make it work :)
Krista just had her first baby Kylie Wednesday, June 30th at 3:51- it was magical really I can't believe how easy she made it look- I am so jealous- I want to be able to experience a birth that way. I guess we shall see how baby 2 makes his grand enterance. Anyway back to Kylie- she is beautiful and tiny at 5 lb 10 oz- Owen was 7 lb 15oz when he was born so quite a bit bigger! Which doesn't really bother me at all, he was such a beautiful baby too and those c-section babies have nice round heads, no football head for Owen...
Anyway I am going to make posting like a weekly thing- so I can remember all these awesome memories and moments for many many years to come. something to look back and treasure when my babies are growing so fast every day that I can hardly recognize them or when the first believe that they hate me as a teenager- I will have all these mushy, memorable moments captured to rekindle the fading memories in my mind and remind me of how precious a gift they really are.
